Grillin' Sauce Spaghetti
Begin to prepare your usual recipe for spaghetti.
Have only a half jar of spaghetti sauce in the refrigerator, none in the cupboard.
Substitute your favorite John Boy and Billy Grillin Sauce to reach the desired consistency.
Serve hot with cheese and baked bread.
This is a very simple recipe. So easy it can be prepared while watching your favorite driver run laps.
2 lb ground beef
8 large hamburger buns
1 jar John Boy and Billy grillin sauce (I use original)
Essence of Emeril Bayou seasoning
Pat ground beef into patties about the size of the palm of your hand. Season bugers well with salt, pepper, and essence of emerils. Prepare grill (I prefer charcoal, but this will work on a propane grill, it is not as good on an indoor grill.) Place bugers on the grill and leave them alone. Cooking time varies by the race you are watching. Allow 7 laps per side for most races, add 3 laps for the short tracks (Bristol) and subtract 2 laps for super speedways (Talladaga). Just before removing burgers from grill, cover one side with JB&B sauce and turn them. Now coat the other side. Leave the burgers sauce side down on the grill for about two pit stops per side. Remove just when the sauce begins to thicken. Top with regular hamburger fixin's and enjoy. Serve with french fries or patato chips and your favorite beverage.
John Boy Chicken Bake
Season 4 to 6(or however many you want) boneless skinless chicken breasts with lemon pepper seasoning.
While chicken takes the seasoning, heat up 2-4 tablespoons of olive oil(reg., virgin, extra virgin - doesnt matter) in frying pan
Brown chicken in olive until chicken is no longer pink.
Preheat oven to 350'.
Put chicken in casserole dish, sprinkle with dehydrated or fresh onion flakes, then cover chicken with John Boy & Billy Grillin' Sauce.
Put chicken in oven until sauce is bubbling, take out and enjoy.
*Side dish that compliments chicken well - mashed potatoes with John Boy & Billy Grillin sauce instead of gravy.
